Today, 20 May, we celebrate International World Bee Day
Today, 20 May, is the International Bee Day. The day was established in 2017 by the UN General Assembly on the initiative of Slovenia.
According to the Swedish Board of Agriculture, the number of pollinating insects in many parts of the world has declined drastically over the past 10-15 years, which is devastating for the reproduction of animal and plant life. It is hoped that an annual World Bee Day will highlight the importance of bees for biodiversity.
We at Beezum are well aware of this and want to contribute in our own way to a better world for our bees and us, by offering insightful solutions for beekeepers.
